I recently graduated from a trucking school and I am now a licensed ACZ driver. I am having difficulty obtaining employment in the Ottawa area as a long haul driver. Although there is a shortage of drivers throughout Ontario, most if not all are looking for experienced drivers. I need to start somewhere and soon. If you have a job or a lead, please forward it to me at q_stik@hotmail.com. tyvm Tom

Hi,
I was searching for information an entrepreneural profile/ assignment that I am doing. Being so close to home, I decided DRL Coachlines would be the number one choice for my assignment. There is a lot of very good information there I could use.

Thanks,

Interesting website, i have not noticed one yet but is there a chat room for truck drivers so we could discuss the pro and cons of possible job prospects on this site.
Could anyone recommend a respectable company to work for on the ice roads? I have 5 1/2 years flatbed experience, 3 of which where spent hauling steel thoughout on, pq, mi and ny. The remaining 2 1/2 years are currently running throughout N.A. hauling equipment, air handling units and press rolls for paper mills using a number of different trailer configurations for a montreal based company. I am currently working but my employer has told me that i could take a leave of absence to go north for the winter so if anybody knows of a good place that would still be looking for drivers for this former east coaster let me know, txs, Wayne

I'll bet you have never had a message like this! I am not a trucker, but I have lost a trucker who was very special to me. His name is John Robert Reaume and I believe he is still driving in Canada but I have lost contact with him. Any suggestions how I can track him down? I have his licence number.

If any of you reading this site can help me find John it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot and this site looks great!! I am a researcher and I wish all sites were as friendly as this one. I am sure it is a great help to all the drivers out there!

Thanks a lot from the USA!!

This is just the sort of web I have been looking for for months now!!! I am a long-distance trucker currently living in the UK but am hoping to emigrate to Canada with my family early next year. I will be hoping to carry on in the trucking industry and would welcome any contact from anyone with any advise that will help me in obtaining my AZ licence and employment. I have been doing this job now for over 25 years and just want to continue in line of work.
Great to meet you all!!! Take care and safe driving.

What a great site. Since starting up my own place on the web, I've really been impressed with the quality of sites on Canadian issues. I hope people will be willing to come and share at http://www.canadian-issues.com too ;-)

Its tough opening up an all things to all people site when you are only 1! At any rate, ideally Canadian-issues.com provides Canadians a space to share in discussions important to Canadians. Drop by and see how you can teach, learn and share about Canada.

I’d really love to have people involved in the ‘hay-west’ project across Canada share their experiences, trials and tribulations. If you think you have something to share about the drought and Canadians helping Canadians, I’d love to put it up on Canadian-issues.com.

Hope you'll consider dropping by once you've done browsing this great site!

Thanks

Excellent idea guys. It is great to see creativity in our industry. It makes our industry look a little more professional and organized (by the way I think we are, we sometimes just forget to portray it) and proud to be a part of it. It is nice to see people with the same pride, interest, and love that I have for my industry. By the way I will be contacting you to advertise with your service, and advertise a little in NFLD to get more on your site. Thanks and good luck.

Salutations from the National Association Of Professional Drivers. My thoughts on Canadian truckers.com are that Canada's truck driving community finally has a web site they can call their own. From British Columbia to Newfoundland people can see what's new and exciting in their own distinct province. The NAPD would like to thank Ken for a site well done. Our association is looking forward to the growth and prosperity this site will bring to the entire trucking community. Nice Job Ken Keep It Up.

Greetings. I would like to say that you have the start of a very good site. You have done a fine job of setting it up with lots of info. Thats great. I looks as though its going to be very informative in various fields. The only thing I think I would like to see would be a page so other truckers, like myself, can put up our web page URL,s. I personally think it would be nice to see into other truckers lives as well. Just an idea. Keep up the great work. I will be dropping by regularly. Keep the rubber on the ground.
