Hello Ken and Rita:
I am writing with kind of unusual request I suppose; I am a songwriter
from British Columbia and I'm interested in talking to truckers as research for an album project I am considering;
My father Brian passed away back in 2001 and he was a trucker, both long
distance and locally in Victoria where I grew up; I am hoping to connect
with some truck drivers in the hopes of finding out how their jobs have
impacted them physically, emotionally, their families, their lives really;
My dad drove a number of different trucks, an old Mack I remember when I
was a child; He used to polish that old bulldog till it was gleaming;
Anyway, I wonder whether if you have any suggestions as to how I could get
in touch with some of the drivers, both men and women who might be willing
to share some of their stories with me;

Hello,this is my first time on this site;I have been driving trucks since '88;I live in Southwestern New Brunswick bordering the Great State of Maine(unless you have recently got held up by the Maine DOT)I am thinking quite seriously of buying my own truck;I would welcome any comments as to who the best carrier would be to put one one;Thank You;

im a truck driver from london been driving for 15 yrs im 37and i love it but i hate the DOT&MOT ,so you new driver be yourself and have fun but doit safely;what dont get done today will get done tomorrow ;so dont KILL YOURSELF or ANYONE ELSE thanks and be safe
